Every kid has a dream. For me, sportswriting and broadcasting have been dreams of mine since I was a youngster. I started my writing career during my senior year at Eureka High School in St. Louis.
Since then, my career has taken off. While at Ball State University, I served as a chief sports reporter for the Ball State Daily News, covering field hockey, women’s basketball and baseball. I wrote many features, sidebars, gamers and previews.
I now serve as sports editor for the Waverly Newspapers in Northeast Iowa.
With this blog, I will share insight and opinions with a dab of humor and wit.
